Daisy has contributed to the post-earthquake reconstruction projects for kindergartens in Wenchuan (2008) and the current national education poverty alleviation program in Yunnan province. Inspired by the vision and mission of her mentor Chan-Chen Shu-an and the educator Maria Montessori, Daisy continues to fulfill her mission in early childhood education and parent education.

With over 20 years of experience in the field of education, Daisy wrote and published hundreds of educational articles, many of which were compiled into books by scholars and professionals. Daisy’s work has been published in the Family Education Guide (under the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and hosted by the Renmin University of China) and Research on China’s Education Development and Poverty Reduction (Under Beijing Social Sciences Academic Press). Daisy also written articles for media such as the Hong Kong Economic Journal (信報) and Master Insight Media (灼見名家). Currently, Daisy is writing for Renmin University Preschool Education Guide (人大幼稚教育導讀), Hong Kong Teachers’ Net (香港教師網), and Preschool Education 365 (幼教365), the national education resource platform for early childhood education.

Through more than a decade of research and development, Daisy and her Chinese teaching methodology and tools 【發現漢字】were invited by The Education University of Hong Kong to showcase at the 6th China Education Innovation Expo hosted by Beijing Normal University at Zhuhai. Daisy’s methodology and tools were highly acclaimed at the conference and her methods have proven particularly effective in early learning of Chinese characters and for children with learning difficulties.

Daisy has taught scientific parenting techniques to Chinese families for many years, helping new parents create a nurturing home and improve their interactions with their children, promoting the well-being and healthy development of many families.
