After graduating from The University of Hong Kong, Pauline started to provide speech therapy to children with developmental language disorder, autism spectrum disorder childhood apraxia of speech, oromotor disorder, articulation disorder, and cerebral palsy at the Special Child Care Centre, Early Education and Training Centre, profit-making service at Heep Hong Society and primary school. Since 2007, Pauline has been a private practice Speech Therapist, with more than 20 years of experience, she now provides speech therapy to different age groups, varies from 2 to 20, and provides clinical supervision to speech therapists from different NGOs. She also conducts articulation training for the reporters from the News Department in different electronic media, including radios and televisions as well as the students in Journalism and Communication Department in different universities. She has been an Associate Professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the examiner of the viva, and the clinical supervisor of the Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences at The University of Hong Kong. Pauline is also the author of two books, How Children with Autism Look at Autism and Speech and Language Preverbal Skills. She has conducted Speech and Language Preverbal Skills seminars and workshops for speech therapists.
